You might notice a sense of grounding or maybe a light tingling. Or you may simply feel a growing sense of ease.

Your body is relaxed…
Your breathing unhurried…
Your mind is beginning to settle.

There is no right or wrong way to experience this. Just notice whatever sensations arise and allow them to be there.

You may start to feel a calmness settling over you. A gentle peacefulness and a quiet sense of ease.

Any sounds around you can fade into the background now. You can respond to them if you wish or simply let them be.

You can simply be here, in harmony with your breathing and with yourself.

Today, you also feel reassurance from within.

Your steps are sure and purposeful as you begin a gentle descent.

With each step, you go a little deeper, not just down the cliff path, but also into yourself, into calm, and into that quiet inner place that feels safe and familiar.

As you go down, the wind shifts, the scent of salt grows stronger, and the sound of the waves rises to meet you.

Grains of wind-blown sand brush your cheeks, softly tapping against your coat.

These are small, lively reminders of the elements moving around you.

You step off the final plank onto the tightly packed shingle of the beach.

The stones are firm beneath your feet, smooth and rounded, easy to walk on.

You are above the tide line, above the seaweed and driftwood carried in overnight, in a place that feels untouched, quiet, yours.

With every gentle breath in and each soft breath out, you might start to notice that vaping just doesn’t suit you like it used to. What once felt automatic, something you did without thinking, may already feel different now. Less necessary. Less connected to who you are now.

You don’t have to force anything. You don’t have to decide anything in this moment. Your system is simply beginning to recognise that you have other ways of settling, calming, and being with yourself.

Your body understands this. Your mind understands this. You already know how to feel calm, how to feel steady, how to return to yourself.

As you breathe now, with fresh, clean air moving easily in and out, your body starts to remember that this is enough.

The idea of vaping just doesn’t sit in the same place anymore.

When you think back to when it first began, you may remember that it had a purpose then. It made sense at the time. It offered something you needed.

And now, calmly and clearly, you can recognise that those reasons may no longer apply. You’ve grown. You’ve changed. And your needs have changed with you.

We’ll begin the return now.

Five… feeling the support of the chair beneath you, solid and familiar.

Four… the everyday sounds around you are coming back into focus.

Three… noticing the brightness behind your eyelids, a gentle awareness of the room.

Two… nearly there now, aware of your feet, your hands, the fabric of your clothes.

One… eyes open when you’re ready, fully back, feeling alert, steady, and clear.

Post hypnotic suggestions when the client is fully present.

As you come back, you can feel your energy returning in a calm, balanced way. Your mind is clear, your body comfortable, and a quiet confidence is settling in. Something you can take with you into the rest of your day.
